One advantage to knitting mittens on two needles is that you knit the thumb as you go. You do not have to come back and finish it later.

I Knit a Thumb Today
Today I took a class at Shall We Knit? I learned how to knit a mitten on two needles.
One advantage to knitting mittens on two needles is that you knit the thumb as you go. You do not have to come back and finish it later.
