A Little Late for St. Patrick's Day

Well, yesterday The Boy and I did some Kool-Aid dyeing. It was quite a lot of fun and of course we are hooked! (I'm not sure which of us was more fascinated by the process.) Here is the green batch, after being cooked, with most of the dye taken up.



We also did a batch of red -- although I wish Tropical Punch was actually blue as its package colour is. Since red is notoriously difficult to photograph properly, I stuck with the green for the blog photos. Here is the wet wool laid out to dry.



And here is the dry wool rolled into a ball.



It dried into a softer green colour than what it looks like here.
